Wetwell Software pty ltd. (WETWELL) respects each individual's right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site and products only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at WETWELL Web site – www.wetwellsoftware.com

 

Personal Information

We collect contact information (email addresses, phone numbers), and financial information (account or credit card numbers). We may request personal information to be submitted to our servers in order to be able to:

• Personalise online software applications according to your needs

• Enforce strict security rules with respect to the data that you upload (e.g. statistical data)

• manage user sessions of online applications

• Alert you about important changes or upgrades in resources or applications

We will not store your credit card details on our server.

When you visit our web site we gather certain general information, such as frequency of downloads, number of hits on our web site, and usage statistics with respect to our software products. • Registered customers may receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our customers we present each user, the option to not receive these types of communications.

• The information we collect will be used to create customer profiles based on browsing or purchasing history.

• We may supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources such as credit history to authorise purchases.

• WETWELL will not share data with any third party entity or individual, except usage information to our vendors as specified in each software license agreement.

We NEVER allow other companies to directly offer registered users information about their products and services. We do NOT sell, nor transmit by any means, personal information, nor statistical data series uploaded by you to third parties.

We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration, and destruction. This does not apply to any statistical data series (such as time series) that have been uploaded in a public workspace. Statistical data series in private workspaces are protected against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure, alteration, and destruction caused by unauthorised individuals. However, at any time, and under any circumstance you are solely responsible for managing your passwords, and keeping them secret.

We protect user information both in our servers and on the user’s computer with the following security measures: registry data encryption, data file encryption, secure servers, firewalls, SSL encryption and other proprietary technologies and procedures used to protect user privacy. Personal Information you give us is stored on a secure server.

 

Collection and Use of Children's Personal Information

WETWELL site and services are intended for general audiences and do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. When we collect age information, and users identify themselves as under 13, the site will either block such users from providing personal information, or will seek to obtain consent from parents for the collection, use and sharing of their children's personal information. We will not knowingly ask children under the age of 13 to provide more information than is reasonably necessary to provide our services.

Please note that if you grant consent for your child to use WETWELL, this will include such general audience communication services as e-mail, instant messaging, and online groups, and your child will be able to communicate with, and disclose personal information to, other users of all ages. Parents can change or revoke the consent choices previously made, and review, edit or request the deletion of their children's personal information.

WETWELL is aware of your privacy concerns. We use cookies on this site for the limited purposes of crediting affiliates with software purchases. We also use cookies on this site to allow easy access to the online support forums. For example, when you download our software from an affiliate web site a cookie may be written to your computer. The cookie is subsequently read to obtain the affiliate identification data when you buy software through our shop. This usage of cookies allows us to properly credit affiliates for software sales. Additions to WETWELL’s Privacy Policy will be highlighted with the image. Revised sections will be highlighted with italics and a date.

Irrespective of whether or not the Privacy Policy changes, information collected under a specific policy will continue to be used as per that Policy.

 

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy and the use of this site are governed by the laws of Australia. Any claim related to the site or to this privacy statement shall be brought in local court in Australia, within one year after the claim arises. Users of WETWELL consent to the jurisdiction of such court as the most convenient and appropriate for the resolution of disputes concerning this Privacy Policy.
